Subly.xyz is a client-side extension that operates directly in your browser.

• No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal identification information (PII) to our own servers.
• Webpage Content: To perform translations, the extension sends the text content of the webpage you are viewing to the AI provider you have configured (OpenRouter/Google Gemini). This data is transient and is used solely for the purpose of generating the translation.
• API Keys: Your API keys are stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local. They are never sent to us. They are only sent to the respective API provider (OpenRouter) to authenticate your requests.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services for AI processing:

• OpenRouter: When you use the extension, text data is sent to OpenRouter API. Please refer to OpenRouter's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

4. Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

• activeTab: To access the content of the current tab for translation.
• scripting: To inject the translation script into the page.
• storage: To save your settings (API key, language preferences) locally.
